A nationally significant cultural landscape featuring lakes and eskers.

The 2.7-kilometer-long Vorna Museum Road, located on the border between Lieksa and Joensuu, winds through a scenic landscape of lakes and eskers, about 30 km from the center of Lieksa. Along the road stands a monument commemorating a battle fought during the Finnish War of 1808, and the area is a protected cultural heritage site. Known for its rich history and breathtaking scenery, this gravel road is easily accessible by car or even by bicycle.
