Event venue on the roof of Lake Pielinen
The Haralanvaara Community Center stands out from other event venues on the eastern shore of Lake Pielinen, primarily because of its scenery. This nearly century-old log house is located in Kylänlahti, Haralanvaara, on the “roof of Lake Pielinen,” offering magnificent views across the lake towards Koli.
Owned by Haralan Erä ry, the community center can host summer parties and events for even large groups. The bright hall is furnished with 10 large rustic tables, and the modern kitchen is equipped with basic tableware for 100 people.
The grounds also feature an outdoor sauna, a covered kiosk building, and a large outdoor kitchen completed in 2025. All of these buildings are available for rent during the summer.
The house does not have its own catering service, but if needed, we can provide recommendations for local options. Accommodations are also not available on-site, but our website includes links to the nearest lodging options.
