Monola Festival Week

Now in its eighth year, Monola Festival Week has established itself as a major event in the cultural summer of Lieksa, Lake Pielinen, and eastern Finland. The festival week revolves around the music of Jean Sibelius and other Finnish composers, stories, and Monola’s unique cultural landscape — a place where Sibelius spent his honeymoon and drew inspiration for his musical language.
